Ziggy was born sometime in April 2007. He was surrendered by his original family three years later and rescued by Midwest Beagle Rescue, Education & Welfare in April 2010. We were fortunate to become his foster parents and immediately fell in love with his kind demeanor and soulful eyes. We made him a permanent member of our family in August 2010. Ziggy is now a happy, loving beagle who is adored by his human parents. He loves humans and animals alike, and they all love him back the same way. He loves to spend time at home on "his" couch along with his three beagle siblings. He also likes guarding "his" yard from squirrels, chipmunks and other critters. At home, he follows his mom everywhere she goes. She says he is her little helper and her souldog. His daddy simply says he is a "mama's boy," but Zig does not care. He knows his mama is crazy about him. Zig will spend his birthday doing what he loves: taking a long walk with mom, having some doggy cake with his siblings Annie, Cindy and TJ, and taking a nap on his couch while his mom loves on him.
